Overview

Cam Converter is a dual-purpose photography app combining a feature-rich custom camera with powerful image format conversion capabilities. The app serves photographers and content creators who need professional camera controls and flexible format export options in a single, beautifully designed interface. Built with Swift and AVFoundation, the custom camera module features 21 real-time filters (vintage, black & white, vivid, sepia, etc.), adjustable sharpness controls for crisp detail, pinch-to-zoom functionality, tap-to-focus with exposure compensation, gridlines for composition assistance, timer modes for selfies, and flash controls (auto, on, off, torch). The camera interface prioritizes usability with intuitive gesture controls and real-time filter previews before capture. The image converter module supports comprehensive format conversion between JPG, PNG, HEIF (High Efficiency Image Format), BMP (Bitmap), TIFF, and GIF formats. Users can batch convert multiple images simultaneously, adjust quality/compression settings for each format, and preview conversion results before saving. The app uses Core Image for high-quality filter rendering and implements background processing for batch conversions.
